Just 4 years ago it wasn’t cool to be “pro black”, to speak on oppression, or to even have pride on who you were. I appreciate the new thirst for knowledge. I encourage self initiative and using resources to learn more about being black here in America, being black here in the world. You can’t can’t learn it all in the day nor in a lifetime. Keep educating and the reflection of knowledge will be shown in the way you carry yourself, the work you produce, and more importantly in how you treat others. #BLM is not a trend, it’s a collection of individuals who decided to band together. Social media is not the only way to embark change. Learn. Grow. Teach. Our job is to continue the work and educate the youth. They have always been the answer. #Happy Saturday
